Level 1 Qualification - Awareness Of Safeguarding (RQF)

​

This interactive course focuses on the creative and cultural sectors.

​

You will take part in hands-on learning activities and discussions with other sector professionals to understand safeguarding in your own context.

​

Packed with helpful resources and links to key documents and information this course aims to teach you how to recognise the signs of abuse and neglect and what actions you can take to stop this from happening and occurring again in the future.

 

It is designed to provide the tools and knowledge to make a difference to a vulnerable person’s life and embed this within your own practice. 

 

A range of subjects is covered including:

​

  • Safeguarding legislation and guidance

  • Indicators of abuse or neglect

  • Making judgements

  • Reporting concerns

  • Roles and responsibilities

  • Handling disclosures

 

You will receive an 80 page E BOOK to support your learning this can be viewed using, a computer, phone or tablet.

​

You will also receive free updates throughout the 3 year licence period which will keep you up to date with changes to guidance and best practice.

 

The course is offered in one 3 hour session with guided learning to support your development and understanding.

 

For participants wishing to gain a their level 1 award there is then an additional 1-2-1 professional discussion (successful participants will then be awarded their certificate and qualification).
